I designed digital ads for various social media platforms, working with marketing teams to create engaging campaigns that drove interest in the products or events being advertised. Some of these ads led to landing pages I built for CRM, while others were designed to raise awareness. In all cases, I worked closely with clients to ensure that their brands and standards were represented accurately and effectively.

Here are some of the specific things I did:

  • I worked with marketing teams to understand the goals of each campaign. This involved understanding the target audience, the desired outcome, and the budget.
  • I designed ads that were visually appealing and attention-grabbing. I used high-quality images and videos, and I made sure that the text was clear and concise.
  • I used targeted advertising to ensure that the ads were seen by the right people. I used demographic data, interests, and browsing history to target the ads to the most likely potential customers.
  • I tracked the results of each campaign to see what was working and what wasn't. I used analytics tools to measure click-through rates, conversion rates, and other metrics.

By following these steps, I was able to create effective digital ads that helped clients achieve their marketing goals.

  • NBA x Champions of Discovery Social Ad

    I was tasked with creating a social ad for the NBA in partnership with the nonprofit organization Champions of Discovery. The ad was to encourage viewers to participate in an online bidding for an NBA VIP All-Star Weekend experience, with proceeds going to Champions of Discovery. The All-Star Game was taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina, home of the NBA team the Charlotte Hornets. I decided to incorporate the Charlotte skyline and Hornets team colors into the ad to reflect the city's hosting of the event.

    However, since the ad was a partnership with the NBA, I did not have the rights to use actual player images. Instead, I used a stock image of a basketball player and edited the uniform to resemble the Hornets' colors. I also blurred out the player and the background to create a sense of mystery and excitement.

    The ad was designed to appeal to basketball fans who were interested in attending the All-Star Weekend and supporting Champions of Discovery. The ad was also targeted to people who were interested in learning more about the city of Charlotte.

    I believe that the ad was successful in achieving its goals. It was well-designed and targeted to the right audience. It also generated excitement and interest in the auction.
